I use http://www.savetube.com to save any youtube video. They also got tools and cool features like seeing whats the latest downloaded videos, pretty nice if you ask me :)

Today, there are several online websites setup that allow you to enter the URL of the video you wish to save to the computer and be able to quickly get a link to download the file or to dowload directly. I’ve selected http://www.VideoSpider.info because i think is one of the most complete video downloader on the net; http://www.Videospider.info allow you to download movies from YouTube, MySpace, DailyMotion, Google Video and many more. Also a cool feature of the site is the email and forum signature generator. In development now is a video converter from .flv(flash video) to .avi, .mov, .mpeg and .mp3.
this is another alternative to download youtube video and it is proven work even Youtube has changed the storage scipts in September.
