Retrieve Original Size of any Photo on Flickr

Some members on Flickr turn off the option to show "All Sizes" of their photos. This is annoying and the Flickr API is able to generate the information to display the original size of any Flickr Photo. So I decided to write a little tool that will allow you to retrieve original photos from flickr.com using the public API. Insert Flickr Photo ID and Retrieve Original Size URL

You are browsing flick.com and find a photo you like but cannot find the "All Sizes" button. No Problem! Look at your URL box and copy and paste the Flickr Photo ID below. When you are looking at an image on flickr.com, the photo id the only number in the address box of your browser. It should be eight digits long. After pasting the number below, press "Get URL" and you will get the direct URL to the original size of the photo you want to see on flickr.

I don't want people to see the original size of my photos on Flickr!

If you feel this way, mark your images as private. If your images are public, people can view the original size of your images even without this tool. By looking at the source and some instructions, anyone can get to your photo's original size. But, this tool just makes it really quick and easy. Enjoy!
