Enhance photos using Photoshop

Sometimes I like to play around with Photoshop and my photos to see how I can manipulate photos and make them look better. The end result always seems better to me then the original photo but certain steps are obviously subjective. I took an image of a horse in Chile and here is the process from the original photo to the final result. First, I opened Hue/Saturation and killed some of the lightness ny moving it to -10. Then I moved hue to -25 and saturation to +20 which enhanced certain colors. This was done under the master setting. Then I opened Brightness/Contrast and moved contrast to +20 which made a big difference. Next, I wanted to bright the ground in the bottom right part of the picture into focus so I went under shadow/highlights and moved the highlights to 50%. Finally I went back into Hue/Saturation and played around with every color. I moved the Yellow lightness all the way down which made the grass look totally green and I also changed the Cyan. There are millions of options and choices that you have and if you have the time, you can really enhance the look of your photos. Any opinions? Most people that don’t like the end result say that it just looks unnatural but if I was looking at the two photos, I would like the final more then the original even if I thought the original looked more natural. Maybe it’s just my opinion.

It says you opened Hue/Saturation.
where is that?

To get to Hue/Saturation in Photoshop you can either press CTRL+U or go to IMAGE - ADJUSTMENTS - HUE/SATURATION
